The top 25 overall finishers are guaranteed to win at least $1,750. In the event that a top 25 finisher fails to win his league and place in the top 2 of his division, and his cash prizes for league, division, overall, field, and Fanball VIP Club bonus total less than $1,750, we still will award $1,750 to the team owner.
In the event of a tie, prizes are divided evenly among those who have
tied. In the event the last division does not have ten leagues, the
prize money may be pro-rated based on the number of leagues in that
division.
All 24 teams in the same league as the overall grand prize winner will receive a Free Entry for next year's 2010 Football Challenge. Please note that the free entry only covers the entry fee (player transaction fees, weekly reports, etc. are not included) and is valid only for next year's game.
Beginning with Week 2, $50 will be awarded to the overall leader each
week based on year-to-date standings, and $50 will be awarded to the overall
leader based on standings for the week. The first weekly prizes
will be awarded on Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Thus for the first weekly year-to-date
prize, stats from games played on September 10, 2009, through games played
on Monday, September 21, 2009, will be used. The first week-to-date winner
will be based on stats from games played on Sunday, September 20, 2009,
through games played on Monday, September 21, 2009. To determine the week-to-date
winners, the stats from games played on Thursday through games played
the following Monday will be used. The stats will be accumulated and ranked
according to the scoring system. The top team with the most overall points
for the week will be awarded the prize.
In the event of a tie, prizes are divided evenly among those who have
tied. In the event the last division does not have ten leagues, the
prize money may be pro-rated based on the number of leagues in that
division.
